Teen Advisory Board
Roles, Responsibilities & Qualifications

Roles:

• Advise the Library about services for teens

• Plan and carry out events for teens

• Select some library materials

Responsibilities:

• Attend all meetings and be an active participant

• Attend as many programs as possible and help with publicity, set up and clean up

• Be a responsible library user

• Set an example of appropriate library behavior for your peers

• Help promote the library and its services for teens

Qualifications:

• Must be a Boxford residents in grades 7 - 12

• Must be willing to commit to 1.5 hours once a month for a meeting

• Must be able to fulfill the Roles and Responsibilities of a Teen Advisory Board Member

• Must enjoy working with others as a team

• Must be interested in the library and in improving library services to teens
