West Boxford Branch--CLOSED effective 4/1/09 188 Washington Street (Route 133) Boxford, MA 01921 Announcement from the Library Trustees:
The
West Boxford Branch Library will close to the public effective
April 1, 2009 due to budget cuts . This difficult decision was
made as a result of a request by the Finance Committee and Board
of Selectmen in response to declining revenues and the dismal
economic situation the Town faces. We understand that this is a
sad ending for many residents who live on the west side of town
and may be inconvenient for some. We will continue to offer full
library services to all Boxford residents at the Boxford Town
Library at 10 Elm Street. As of April 1st, all holds slated to
be delivered to the West Boxford Branch Library will be
transferred to the Boxford Town Library and can be picked up
there during normal business hours. Library story times will
also be transferred to the Boxford Town Library. Thank you for
your understanding.

| Directions: Take exit 52 off of Rt. 95 and turn west towards Boxford Village. At the end of Topsfield Road take a right onto Elm Street. The library is the third building on the right, across from the Boxford Community Store. |
**Under M.G.L. c. 4, § 7, cl. 18, a legal holiday shall be observed the day following when said holiday shall occur on Sunday. |
